Paul has over 25 Years’ experience within the Insurance Industry, he’s now branching out in Spencer Hayes Group’s new venture, 360 Consultants!

He began as a Personal Lines Trainee back in 1994, rising to Branch Manager in 8 years. This is where his management journey started. Two management roles later, and when an opportunity presented itself, it was time to put everything he had learned from his 19 years to the test and co-found Spencer Hayes Insurance in February 2013.

He said “you have to back yourself and make decisions, some will be good, some bad, but setting up the company was one of the best professional decisions I have and will probably ever make”. He hasn’t looked back since and a determination for growth enabled further expansion to Spencer Hayes Group in 2017, where it continues to develop and grow year-on-year.

One of the roles Paul enjoys the most is seeing ideas develop into plans, into projects, then becoming success stories all whilst working alongside a team of very special and talented people.

Outside of work.

Away from the office, Paul lives in the Burnley area with his wife Lucie, sons Jacob, Leo and Joseph and Bentley the Dog.

When Paul isn’t attempting to floss in the office, he spends his time taking his lads to play football or watching Burnley & Ilkeston football matches. When football is out of the equation, he loves spending time with his family and friends, as they’re both hugely important to him!

Recently, following the events of 2020, Paul has taken to walking for exercise and wellbeing and cooking, although the latter is very much still in the balance with more disasters than à la carte meals being served. He’s a master of the slow cooker or one pot wonder, but the oven has become his nemesis.
