This is a permanent position based at our site in Burnley, and we are looking to start the successful applicant as soon as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<h6><strong>Duties and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Preparing Management Accounts within a pre-defined format<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Analysis and reconciliations, for detailed review by Financial Director.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Preparation of consolidated management accounts of business unit.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Preparation of annual Statutory Accounts to draft stage.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Assisting with the preparation of business forecasts and variance reporting against them<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Assisting with the preparation of the monthly management accounts<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Reviewing trial balance and reconciliation<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Preparing and submitting the VAT return<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Processing of weekly and monthly payroll for submission to HO for payroll processing and reconciliation of all reports and preparation of journals.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Reconciliation of payroll control accounts and making payments to HMRC<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Preparation of monthly reports to Head Office.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Entering receipts\/payments and carry out bank reconciliations.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Ensuring that the customers pay on time via planned debt recovery and prompt dealing with queries received.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Weekly reporting of debtors to management.<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts at year end.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h6><strong>What are we looking for?<\/strong><\/h6>\n<ul>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Financial qualifications such as CIMA or ACCA is advantageous but not essential and would be considered against the salary<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">AAT Qualifications are essential<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Experience in finance orientated roles<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Exposure to Payroll, preparing Accounts and reporting<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">IT literate with the ability to provide detailed financial reports<\/li>\n<li data-stringify-indent=\"0\" data-stringify-border=\"0\">Attention to detail with the ability to work to strict deadline<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We are looking to interview all suitable candidates straight away and start the successful candidate as soon as possible in line with any notice period you may have to
