Introducing Paul Bentley! Co-Owner of Spencer Hayes Group, Operations Director and an all round top bloke!

Paul, also known as; Pablo, Peb and Pearl, has been working at SHG since day one, all the way back in 2013 when the company first opened its doors. 

Pablo has been in the insurance industry since leaving school – which equals to over 25 years! Paul told us that he’s met some amazing people along the way, who have all contributed to his outlook and passion towards the insurance industry – even the not-so-amazing people.. 😉

Peb was born and bred in Burnley and still lives there with his wife; Lucie, who he met over 20 years ago! (Goals). They now have 3 adorable boys; Jacob, Leo and Joseph. Plus Casper the cat and a few fish all under one roof! Occasionally, you may see the Bentley family in Ilkeston as Lucie’s family originated from there. 

When Paul isn’t attempting to floss in the office, he spends his time taking his lads to play football, or watching Burnley and Ilkeston football matches. When a football is out of the equation he loves spending time with his family and friends, as they’re both hugely important to him!

We asked Paul about his favourite holiday, he told us that his honeymoon was a special one to remember, travelling around America with Lucie. Visiting Las Vegas, Los Angeles and New York. As well as recent family visits to Orlando, discovering the magical Disney World and Universal Studios! Apart from that he said he would travel more when the opportunity arises. Finally, Paul would like to add some amazing advice he lives by – “Work hard, play hard and you won’t go far wrong, enjoy the ride!”
