Introducing James Purrett, with over 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry, James began his career in personal lines as a Client Advisor before progressing to Customer Service Team Leader. A natural move into the commercial and corporate space followed, where James has spent the past seven years refining his expertise at several leading firms including Gallagher, Reich and Howden.

Now Cert CII accredited and looking to begin his Diploma qualification this year, James is passionate about helping businesses manage risk and unlock growth. With a strong background in client relationship management and a proactive, solution-focused mindset, James is excited to bring his experience to a growing business environment.

James studied Primary Teaching with Early Years Education at Lancaster University before making the transition into insurance. His early experience working with people continues to shape his approach, placing clear communication and trust at the heart of everything he does.

Outside of work, James lives in Bury with his partner Rosie and their cockapoo Mabel. He enjoys spending weekends outdoors, often walking the local countryside with Mabel in tow, ideally with a country pub at the end of the route. A regular at the gym, James also enjoys cooking and is well on his way to perfecting the ultimate pizza dough, having made hundreds of pizzas over the years.

A big fan of film, James is currently working through the IMDB Top 100 list, with 12 Angry Men standing out as a firm favourite. Looking ahead, he and Rosie are planning a road trip around France next year in her Suzuki Jimny with a rooftop tent, but not before a few trial runs to Scotland and Wales to perfect their setup!
